Dear all,

Firstly we apologise for the delay in sharing this message and hope you can understand.

We are sure you are now very well aware that the government have requested churches do not meet (physically) and so it is with a heavy heart we must inform you that we have suspended all church services and activities until otherwise instructed.

We understand that this is a difficult time, especially for those who live alone, the elderly, the vulnerable; these people rely on such services and activities.

We will ensure everyone is contacted regularly and check any needs they have, we will, where possible, meet these needs.

We hope people will understand the importance of social distancing and isolating if you are displaying any symptoms. Please check latest government advice:

We are looking at how we can run services remotely, in a way that reaches all our congregation; keep an eye on our website and Facebook.

This is new territory for many of us and we ask your patience as we trial new things.

We also hope to give a Sunday school lesson online for children, again this is new to us and may take time.

We will try to share daily devotionals and continue sharing 40acts via our Facebook page

If anyone would like prayer please contact us, we can pray via Facebook messenger, email and telephone.

If there is someone who isn’t online whom you feel needs a phone call please get in touch and we will assign someone to contact that person.

Remember the Chiddingfold Good Neighbours are also there to help (they will still deliver Easter cards which will have details of how to contact them) and there are a number of volunteers offering services to those who are self isolating whether by choice or because of symptoms.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all at this time.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” – Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
