Notices:
On 8th December we will be holding a Toy Service at 10:30am. This is a venture arranged by Godalming Baptist Church to provide toys for the Merton Christian Care Association. Further details can be found on our Facebook page or at the back of the Church. Gifts may be in the form of toys (new or as good as new) or cash. Our collection that day will be donated to the appeal.
There will be a meeting of members of the Horticultural Society in church on 13th December at 2pm to make Christmas Wreaths.
The church will be decorated on 14th December commencing at 10am. As usual many as many helpers as possible will be required.
We will be holding a film night on 18th December. Refreshments in the form of nibbles will be provided by Ian but he would appreciate any donations of food. The film will be “The Christmas Child”, it’s a beautiful film and we encourage you to come and bring a friend.
Our Christmas party will start at 3pm on 22nd December with food being served at 4:30pm. The Carol Service, which will include a children’s Nativity, will commence at 5:30pm.
Please note that all future events will now appear in the calendar on the church website as well as the notice sheet. There will no longer be a calendar in church.

Subsequently, if you are buying something, go into the EasyFundraising website, enter the name of the company you are buying from and if they participate in the scheme click on their name and go to their website.

Pray for the family and friends of Harley Watson, a young boy who lost his life in Essex when a car ploughed into students (2/12), pray also for the other five students who were injured.
Pray for the families of those who were killed and those who were injured in the London Bridge terrorist attack.
Pray for those suffering from illness at the moment, physical, mental and spiritual.
Prayer for those who find the holiday season difficult.
